A few new things to check out! First off, a new layout featuring Rowena, Leah, and Satsu. I made this manipulations with many manhours, and many pictures and there is a wallpaper version in the art section. I also added a few new wallpapers to that section. New to ASIB...

Obviously there's a new layout up! It's version Lucy Hanover, one of my personal favorite Slayers. The woman in the picture is the actress Vivien Leigh and the entire concept was thought up and made by yours truly. Added 26 new pictures to the season 8 gallery the other day, also I have started working on some Slayer and Watcher microheroes, I think I'm gonna change the adoption banners to dolls. I've written up several new bios and have those to add asap. I scanned 58 new pictures of season 8 so I should have those to add soon as well. Thanks to everyone who has been visiting so much lately, and I saw that the counter passed 1000 a few days ago so yay! Thanks guys. Season 8 is up to issue 5 now, and 6 is on the way soon with Faith's arc as well as a rogue slayer so be expecting some scans from that as well :) OH! I almost forgot! I added a bunch of new wallpapers including a wallpaper sized version of the Lucy Hanover manipulation.

While adding the new pictures from season 8, it became apparent to me that a season 8 gallery was in my best interest. So now, all season 8 slayer and season 8 group pictures are in their very own section. I've added a ton of new pictures from season 8 issues 1 and 2, lots of Buffy, one of Rowena, a bunch of group pictures, and a better quality picture of the 2nd issue alternative cover :)

In the most recent issue of Buffy magazine, it's said in an interview with Joss that the slayers that appeared on the show will make their way into the season 8 comic gradually. It's also stated that it will be implied that each slayer involved in the final battle will be in a place of leadership, heading up slayer teams. Vi was written into a story early but they later decided to pull her until they really decided what to do with her and mentioned the problem of her name looking like VI (the roman numeral for 6) in the comics and how complicated it was making things. That's all for now.

Completely redid the link buttons cause they were pretty old. Also, be on the lookout for Bad Congress, a new Buffy novel by Christopher Golden who in my opinion, nails the Buffy books better than any other author out there. The book is confirmed as taking place several months after season7, and while they won't be canon, this implies atleast a few new slayers. He gives an interview on the novel here. In the interview he confirms that there will not be an appearance by Lucy Hanover, which is one of his recurring characters. It's available for pre-order here. I added a section called "Become an expert." Basically it's a list of books, episodes, and comic appearances by Slayers. That way if you wanna delve more into the world of the nerdy obsessive, you can.

K, added EVEN MORE new pics including several new ones from issue one of the Buffy Season 8 Comic, 3 of Leah, 2 of Satsu, a buncha group pics, a couple new ones of Fray, some new watcher pics including Lydia, an unnamed watcher, and a new one of Gwendolyn Post. Also I added the alternative cover to the second issue which features Buffy, Leah, Satsu, and the new blonde slayer who I believe is named Rowena. I've added a section of videos that are in relation to the Slayer, and some drawings by the slayer Dana. Once I get my galleries to where I want them, I need to type up bios that I have jotted on various pieces of paper... hehehe. Also, I know I'm really late on this, but when you get a chance, pick up Portal Through Time, it had quite a few appearances by some new slayers. I also added one new wallscroll, and a new wallpaper to the wallpapers section.

Alrighty, my first update of 2007! As you can see, new layout! It's been a long time comin, and I finally made myself do it. Also, for the first time, the site contains CSS, which will help big time when it comes to updating the like, 100 pages. No new bios, but I have completely revamped the galleries. I added over 50 new pictures, and a lot of the pictures that were already up were replaced with bigger, higher quality versions. With season eight coming up, I figure I'll do some updates on the new slayers Joss and Co. will be churning out. I added a few more wallpapers, and soon I'll add some icons as well. Also, I have new sections in the works, so be on the lookout for those.

So I was pretty disappointed in Blackout. There were so many inconsistencies that interfered with both BtVS and the Tales of the Slayer novels and comic. Not only that but basically everyone Nikki knew was aware that she was the slayer. MEH. The author obviously didn't do his research well enough. Because of these screw-ups and interfering stories, I am going to write a separate bio based off of that book because it completely conflicts with the timeline of the other sources. I enjoyed Go Ask Malice and thought that they did a so so job of doing Faith's character. Kudos on filling in many gaps and for such a fun backstory with the Slayer Artemia (whom I've added to the timeline.) I added a section on myself and my history running this site so go check that out, and more coming up later.

Okay, new info in the India Cohen bio, and added Peri Bohr bio, Rona bio, watcher Claire Silver bio, Dana bio, and Zoe Kuryakin's bio as well as a poem by her to the journals section. I rearranged some things, placing everything extra under features for both slayers and watchers. I added a section called articles under the slayer features which includes scanned articles on slayers from Buffy magazine.In other news, on August 29th the new Buffy novel by Keith Candido will be released. It is entitled Blackout and is entirely about Nikki Wood and takes place in the summer she takes on Spike. So there will be lots of upcoming Nikki info. Also, a new Faith novel came out chronicalling her life before Sunnydale, so expect lots of new Faith info. For readers purposes, the novel is entitled, Go Ask Malice and was released on June 27th, 2006.
