Zoe Kuryakin Bio ~ 1950 - 1952




Notes: Non-Canon. Highly studious in the history of the Council and Slayers of the past. Faced her Cruciamentum, and not only died but was sired. Had strong Slayer sense. Her favorite weapon is a customized switchblade soaked in holy water.

Personality and Appearance: Skinny, russian, pale. Built like a boy. Spunky, very hip and modern. Bohemian.

Bio: Was discovered to be a potential Slayer at a young age. 1st generation Russian Jew. Parents died just after 15th birthday in a car accident. Lived with Watcher Ian Sykes in New York on Bleecker street. Her Watcher ran a bookstore, and she worked part time as a waitress at The White Unicorn Cafe. Zoe had met with the Council and disliked them, as most Slayers do. A Watcher named Colin Clive had been very anti-semitic toward her and she nearly beat him up. Just before her 18th birthday, her Watcher began to give her the injections for her Cruciamentum. Zoe's Watcher resented her and disliked his job. He thought she was an irresponsible and unimpressive Slayer. He struck a deal with Creighton Faust, a sired Watcher to allow him to kill her, so that he may be reassigned. He injected Zoe with phenobarbital and allowed Faust to kill her, and then he sired her against Sykes' pleading. Upon awaking as a vampire, Zoe was aware that her Watcher had betrayed her but her Slayer abilities allowed her to be in control of her vampire state for a short time. She burned herself on a cross attacking Faust. Her dusted him and then the blood lust overcame her and she killed her Watcher. She knew then that she wouldn't be able to control herself and that her soul was slipping away from her. Rather than stay a vampire, she walked outside into the morning sunlight and killed herself.
