Mollie Prater Bio ~ 1886




Notes: Non-Canon. Mollie was for lack of a better word, a hillbilly. Didn't care about her hair or clothes. She was sweet, naive, and non violent before her calling.

Personality and Appearance: Mollie Prater was born in 1871 to Lila and her father whom she was very close to. She had spent her entire life in the tiny town of Pike County, Kentucky on her parents farm. At age 15, she was engaged (normal at that time) to Harly Meade, and was only a week from their wedding, when she woke up feeling strange. Later that day in the barn, her brother Lonnie dropped his pitchfork over her head and a wild sow ran at her at the same time. She knew something was off when she halted both events this incredible reflex without even killing the pig. She said nothing to her daddy, Harly or even her best friend, pregnant Adalee. No one suspected anything until at her baptism, her townspeople were attacked by a vicious demon, and acting on reflex Mollie tore an entire branch off a tree and fought it off. Then at her wedding, the same demon charged out of the woods killing several people and Mollie cut it's legs off with a scythe, killing it. As Harly, Adalee, and her parents back away from her, wary she was approached by a man who introduced himself as Ethan Bentley, her Watcher. It took no convincing to tell her that she was different, a Slayer, and so she and Ethan left her small town and the life she had always planned.
