Melaka Fray Bio ~ 2299




Notes: Canon. Fray is unique in that she does not retain memories, and thoughts of past Slayers. She has a twin brother, and he somehow gained those. Her main link to the last Slayers in are in the Scythe that she holds so dear, the same Scythe discovered by Buffy Summers and used to activate all Slayers in 2003.

Personality and Appearance: Blue, and pink hair with a green braid. Scar on upper lip, stud in nostril, hip hop style. Sarcastic, rude, but very intelligent.

Bio: In the 21st century there was a huge war between the forces of good and evil. The Slayer and all of the demons and vampires were sucked into another dimension. With no demons the powers that be saw no reason for a Slayer. And so no slayer was called for 200 hundred years. While the Watcher's Council waited obsessively, they went nuts. But then the demons and vampires returned called "lurks." And so the Watcher's Council as well as a group of good demons learned of a new Slayer. A nineteen year old girl living in the underworld Haddyn as a thief for a fish/man thing named Gunther. Knowing that the Watcher's Council was incompetent, the Old Ones sent a large demon named Urkonn to seek out Melaka and inform her of her duty. Just before he approached her, her would-be Watcher did and then set himself on fire. No reason, just crazy. Urkonn on the other hand informed her of her fate, other Slayers, training and became her unofficial Watcher. Haunted by images of her twin brother Harth being killed by a lurk named Icarus 4 years before, She wanted nothing to do with it, Urkonn or anyone else including her older sister, cop Erin. Shortly after accepting her duty and beginning to train, she was confronted by Icarus and her brother Harth, now a vampire. After explaining to her how it happened, he promises to kill her, and everything and everyone she loves, then beat the crap outta her. He then throws her into the sewers letting her escape, already have crushed her spirit and body. When the people in town and even Melaka's sister, Erin see the damage and inhumanity in the lurks they agree to help Melaka in the final battle being planned by her brother. Upon defeating the Lurks, Melaka kills Urkonn after deducting that he killed an innocent young girl named Loo, a friend of Fray's, in order to push Melaka to fight. She then takes on the duties of the Slayer battle on her own.
