The First Slayer "Senaya" Bio ~ Early Mankind
Notes: Canon. Previously known only as The First Slayer, or The Primitive, she was given a name in the Queen of the Slayers novel and was named in the BtVS episode Primeval while this is still not . Was never appointed a Watcher because she was the Slayer long before the Watchers existed. thus her lack of guidance.
Personality and Appearance: Short, built, dark dread locked hair, African. Wore white face paint. She was a loner, no family or friends, only the hunt and kill, born of violence it was all she knew.
Bio: In the beginning of the Earth, Demons roamed the Earth like a plague with no force of good to combat them. Then came mankind. It was only a matter of time until man came up with a solution. 3 powerful Shaman found a girl, a wanderer with no family or friendship ties. They chained the girl to the earth and filled her with the essence of demon. She was given supernatural powers, strength, agility, and speed. These Shaman following generations would later become The Watchers Council.
They instilled her with a thirst to kill, named her The Slayer, and yet provided no guidance, and no training. So, she was only a killer. Once she died another would be called and another forever until the demons were gone. Energy doesn't die, it only changes forms, in this case, a new girl. She was instilled with the instinct to hunt and kill evil. Though she helped many villages, the people shunned her, knowing she was in a form a demon and this was why she could combat them, a trend that continued on with nearly all Slayers.
In 1999, when Slayer Buffy Summers and her friends tapped into the source of the First Slayer to defeat an enemy, they tapped into the darkness. The First Slayer began to stalk them in their dreams trying to kill them. She was then confronted by Buffy and told her of her destiny. She told her that death was her gift. The First Slayer is often called upon during Vision Quests to offer guidance to Slayers. She also later appeared to Buffy in a dream, giving short and simple advice. "It is not enough." This advice led Buffy through some hard decisions.
