Bio: Faith is a native of Boston, Massachusetts. Not much is known of her father aside from the fact that he is in prison. Her mother was an alcoholic and also a prostitute. She knew about slaying early on, and her first Watcher was a woman. When she was about 18, her Watcher was killed in front of her by the vampire Kakistos. Terrified and guilt ridden she fled to Sunnydale, California to seek out the other living Slayer, Buffy Summers. She and the other Slayer became friends, and Slayed together even joking about the the olympic event "Synchronized Slaying." The first time Faith turned on Buffy was when she was approached by Gwendolyn Post who claimed to be her new Watcher. Rupert Giles and Buffy found Ms. Post out to be evil, and Buffy tried to attack her. Not realizing she was evil, Faith helped Mrs. Post. She realized she had been fooled, which only served to distance her more and more from people. After the ordeal a wall had been built between Buffy and Faith, Faith being the black sheep, and Buffy being the "good one." She was assigned a new Watcher, Wesley Wyndham Price. Things came to a head when Faith accidentally staked a human, mistaking him for a vampire, giving her a bloodlust and psychosis. At first, she was guilt ridden, but she knew she would always be second to Buffy and distanced herself even more, stating to Bufy that she "didn't care" she had killed a human. Wesley discovered what had happened and sent for the Watcher's Council to take her to London to judge her. She not surprisingly escaped. She turned on Buffy and joined the evil Mayor of Sunnydale, who fathered her, giving her everything, an apartment, clothes, and a knife she grew particularly fond of. Faith then poisoned Angel, Buffy's vampire boyfriend, and the only cure was a Slayer's blood. Buffy hunted Faith down and stabbed her, but right after she did Faith jumped off of the building into the bed of a passing truck, refusing to help Angel even in death. We find out later that Faith didn't die, but she did fall into a coma. The coma lasted for several months until one day she miraculously woke up and sought revenge. Using a device that the Mayor had left behind in case of his death, she switched bodies with Buffy. The process was shortly thereafter reversed, leaving Faith once again alone, She went to L. A. where she then tortured her ex-Watcher Wesley, and continued to lose her mind. Due to Angel's friendship and advice, turned herself in and was rehabilitated for her crimes. In 2003 Faith was visited in prison by Wesley, and was informed of the impending danger of the return of Vampire Angelus. Though Faith doesn't care much for the world, Angel was one of the only people she felt had ever helped her. She broke out and helped turn Angelus back into Angel. She then traveled to Sunnydale with Willow Rosenberg to help out Buffy. She helped train 30 or so Potential Slayers and fought in the battle against the First Evil. She also met Robin wood, the son of Slayer Nikki Wood. Having won, she left town with Buffy and her friends and family. They scattered to different parts of the globe and Faith ended up in Cleveland with Robin. She and Robin split up but she stayed in town, helping him and his new Scythe Slayers occasionally. She attempted twice to leave the country to escape her Slayer duties and the police undoubtedly looking for her, with forged passports. She was living in a crappy apartment and spending her time slaying when she was found by Rupert Giles. He asked her to take on a mission he felt only she could handle. An aristocratic Slayer by the name of Lady Genevieve Savidge was killing Slayers and was going to "usher in the apocalypse." He knew that she couldn't be stopped unless she was killed, which he asked Faith to do in exchange for safe passage to wherever in the world she would like. Faith went to England and infiltrated the noble home of Genevieve and befriended her once Gigi realized Faith was a Slayer with similar tastes and personality. She told Faith of her plot to assassinate Buffy which Faith tried to talk her outn of without tipping Gigi off that she had been sent there to stop her. Buffy was teleported to Gigi's home by her magician partner in crime. Buffy and Genevieve fought and Buffy easily overpowered her. Faith tackled Buffy, the two of them flying out the window and down into Gigi's pool. Faith tried to tell Buffy she was on her side, and Buffy didn't believe her. The old resentment in Faith brewed up as she choked Buffy and held her under the water before composing herself. She let Buffy go but before she could apologize, Buffy disappeared, teleported back to her home by Willow. As Faith stood there, lost, and confused, Genevieve approached her from behind, ready to kill her. Faith rose and tried to explain, though Gigi didn't want to hear it. They fought and Gigi was accidentally killed. She then told Giles that she would like to find other Slayers who needed guidance and together they look for an help other Slayers.
