Diana Bio ~ 39-40 A.D.




Notes: Non-Canon. Diana's best friend Helen went on to hate Slayers because of what she thought was Diana's betrayal. She killed thousands over the next few hundred years, collecting their skulls.

Personality and Appearance: Diana was a sweet, friendly girl. She loved her father, and valued her friendship with Helen. She was average height with dark hair and eyes.

Bio: Diana was born in 24 A.D., in Greece. At age 15 she was called to the Slayer and began to train with her Watcher Aulus. She and Aulus were never very close, and she wondered if he would even care if she died. Her father did know of her Slayer status but never interfered. She was betrothed to a man named Demetrius, who unbeknownst to her worked for the local head vampires as a spy on her. After finding out Diana's role in life, her best friend Helen, jealous of her relationship with Demetrius told him. Though her intent was to break them up, she had done much worse. He reported this information back to the vampires, who came after Diana. One day while she was in the bathtub, her father came in panicked and said that Aulus and Helen had been kidnapped and that Demetrius' head had been thrown onto the lawn. Aulus had lied to the vampires claiming that Helen was Diana in order to save his Slayer from them, proving he really did care. Diana tried repeatedly to save them but failed each time, outnumbered. Finally the vampires captured her and beat her near death. The head vampire Julius took her into Helen's cell and laid her there for Helen to see. He offered to save her if only Helen would become a vampire. Feeling betrayed because she had been told repeatedly that Diana had never tried to save them, she claimed that she would let her die. After Julius told her the truth, that Diana in fact had tried, Helen agreed to give her life if he would save Diana. And so he sired her and in her awaking bloodlust as a vampire, she sucked Diana dry, killing her.
