Cassia Marsilka Bio ~ 1525-1527 (as Slayer)




Notes: Non-Canon. Cassia became a legend by being one of the Slayers to have been sired. Though she truly made the name for herself as a vampire. Many in fact. She went by Celina, Catia, Callia, Calida, Caterina, Catalina, & Christine to name a few. She was also spotted in Italy, Salem, Spain, London, Portugal, Brazil, Poland, & all over North America.

Personality and Appearance: Cassia changed her features, her attitude and her name many times once she became a vampire, dying her hair strawberry blond and spiking it for a punk look. As a human, she was soft spoken, childish and afraid to die.

Bio: Born in 1510, Cassia was 15 when her life took on a very sudden change. Late one night, her father not knowing any better, invited in two vampires. By the time she heard her family's cries, they and two servants had been killed. Upon taking on the vampires, Cassia realized that she had an inhuman strength and took them out easily. Though she learned of her special abilities, it wasn't until a week later when a female Watcher approached her that she could give a name to it. She was the Slayer and needed to be trained. It wasn't that easy though, considering that Cassia resented her Watcher and the Council greatly, blaming them, their monsters, and their destiny for the death of her family. She began sneaking out to hunt without informing her Watcher, and after about 2 years, she encountered a vamp she couldn't take. In 1527, at age 17 she fought and lost to the 1300 year old vampire Syrus the Gladiator. When Cassia awoke to her new vampire existence, she had fallen somewhere in between Slayer and Vampire, despising both the living and dead. She resented humans because she had given her mortal life for them without any hopes of ever receiving thanks, and she hated vampires and the monster that she had become. She continued to slay vampires as well as feast on humans. She traveled to Portugal, Brazil, North America all under different names. In 1890, she met vampire Spike aka William the Bloody at a place called Madame Rilette's. She continued to train as well, even after being sired, learning the fighting technique Pencak Silat in Malaysia,. She then massacred not only her instructors but the entire village after. Was spotted in Poland in 1950 under the name Callia. In 1960 she terrorized a small town in Nebraska and earned the name "Drifter Killer." She met Angel the vampire in a roadhouse in this town and attacked him. Incredibly strong and fast she had a stake to Angel's chest when she was attacked by a sheriff and shot, saving him, and instilling a fear of her into him forever. She appeared in Sunnydale in 2000, under the name Celina and was seeking out the Slayer, Buffy Summers. After a series of fights, taunts, and even one completely honest conversation about the Slayer's place in darkness, Buffy defeated her, and she was dusted.
