Welcome to Reflection, my graphic portfolio/wallpaper making hobby/pastime/unhealthy obsession? I am Amber, I am a fangirl. I have been doing fanart/blends/wallpapers for about 8 years.. I can use both PSP and Adobe but prefer Adobe and that is what I work in. My pieces are done in 1024x768 because it's my screen size, but I recently began making them in 1280x800 in hopes of getting a widescreen monitor soon. I love to read messages/tags from you guys so feel free to harass me.

Art Terms of Use: Please, Please, PLEASE do not post my work anywhere unless given permission or on the evil thing that we call fanpop! I can't hunt down everyone who does or check there all the time to see if people do, so I'm asking nicely for you to NOT DO THAT. If you do anyway, you're an asshole. ALSO, tutorials are to help you learn techniques and develop your own style, not to recreate my work and post as your own. With that said, Wallpapers are meant for your desktop to make it look pretty and fun! Not to be used for your site, myspace, or livejournal layout. My icons, textures, brushes, etc, are also here for your use! If I wanted to keep them all for myself, I wouldn't have a site, now would I? So yes, use them but always credit. It's internetiquette. (see how I did that? clever right? combining internet and etiquette... oh nevermind.)

I Think I'll Try Defying Gravity

Site News: After working so hard to get a new layout together, and put the site back in order, I sorta just let it go. I haven't had much inspiration to work on art or the site due to constant time contraints put on me by my real life. I am keeping the site open, but consider this an unofficial hiatus (which I have never done before), just for a little while because I can't promise to update knowing I probably won't. I will try to every other month or so if I make art, and I will still be working on the site and answering tags, just not in the capacity that was my former glory. No major site news, I would like to choose a SOTM for December, so maybe I can actually get around to doing that. I DID however win SOTM from Jo @ Unfolding last month and I'm so sorry it took until NOW to actually update about it. Fail. A few new arts added. Check recent to see them. As a side note, I removed a ton of old art from all sections, mainly BtVS because they were so outdated. Even though the quantity has dropped, the quality remains hahaha.

Site News:
So as you can see, there is a new setup for updates. It's a lot cleaner and organized, and was inspired by cutenews. Why didn't I just use cutenews you ask? Well I installed it, got it working, was debating whether I was going to start using it when Jenni Lou and J.j. were kind enough to advise me against it due to spam problems. SO instead I decided I would like something that resembles it without dealing with any nonsense. THANKS GIRLS! I have a new layout as you can see, featuring the lovely Bellatrix Lestrange my favorite female HP character. Why do I always seem to be on the bad guys' side? Cause they're just more fun, that's why. The textures and stock images came from Shadow of the Day and the images are from The Leaky Cauldron. I finally have a new SOTM as well! Creative Daily recieves the honor this month, click here to see why! ALSO, icons have been revamped, I am now using IconSort because I'm lazy and it makes my life easier because it fucking wins at everything and seriously is cutting my site update workload in half. I love it, and thanks so much to Julie for writing/making it available to the public. Why I never used it before, I don't even know.
