I am not currently accepting affiliates. I have so many already and would like to be able to keep up. Exceptions include my asking you to affiliate, or if I know you from Buffy Forums or Livejournal.
I periodically clean up my affiliates. I remove people for the following.
Rarely or do not update at all
Don't have a link here on their affiliates page
Site is closed or on hiatus for more than 6 months (exceptions made for friends/special circumstances)
Site is open but most sections don't work
You've been caught copying other's work/layouts
I won't always warn everyone before removing them because it's very time consuming. If you were removed for one of these reasons and would like to re-affiliate, tag me and let me know. Last affiliate cleanup: December 17th, 2007 Family - Family sites can't be applied for. These people are very special to me, they are my true online family, and I would be lost without them.
Boika Twin/Naughty Coworker - Bre @ Primordial Souls - Bre went from being an affiliate to being a friend basically overnight. We started talking on myspace and livejournal and just hit it off immediately. Naughty coworker began as an inside joke and began around the time we started talking, she has brain sex with Christian. It's true. You don't know who that is? Well, who cares? We oppose the toolbox covered in lamesauce. We suck life balls. The Boika is like the Troika, except there's two of us. Now you ask, wouldn't that just be the duo? NO. Fuck you, we're the Boika and we can do whatever we want. I have often seriously considered flying to Colorado to hang out with this girl, and my forbidden lovah, Joe. Totally worth the plane ticket.
Spam Co-pilot/High School Reunion Crasher - Dana @ Chosen Art - Dana and I were some of eachother's first affies when I very first opened Reflection and she very first opened Chosen Art. Over the years we've gotten to know eachother and helped eachother out and she's a total sweetie. She is the longest online friend I've had, and one of the closest. She actually knows about my actual life and not just my fangirlish tv show watching. We co-pilot the spam plane and send eachother messages on our spampilots. We always have an ear to lend eachother in times of need or complaining, and she's dear to me. If anyone ever hurts her, I shall fly across the world and kill their lives. She may actually exist on the same level of sarcasm as I do... and that's amazing. We hate kids, and sad wallpapers made with bright colors and flowers. Buffy's mom died? Better throw some sunshine on there. Spike is a manly man, and we pose around him. Tara is a midget. She sent me a co-pilot bracelet in the mail. Could anyone possibly be cooler than her? Probably not.
Partner in Crime/Shapeshifter - Ehlwyen @ Quicksand - So, Lyn and I have been affiliates for a while now, and it's official. We are both nuts. We are wacky, midwestern, bitter, old ladies. And by old, I mean we compain about the damn kids these days, and talk about the good old days. I was in love with her art long before we realized we were two peas in a ridiculous pod that includes some of the other fools in this family, and more. The AFA Afterparty was seriously epic, and our plans to steal gangster Ice Cream trucks and pick up the rest of our fanboys and fangirls for the wildest party ever, shall someday have to come into reality. Don't condescend us. We'll fuckin kill ya. Lyn is currently on hiatus from Quicksand but not from my heart. So cheesy. you love it.
Forbidden Lovah/Pirate Pants - Joe @ Unapologetic Mockers - Joe is my freakin love. He should move here, or I'll move there, whatever. We are a tag team of evil. My Livejournal life would be a far less fun without his absolutely ridiculous comments and I look forward to a long friendship of goofiness. Once he and Bre convince me to move to Colorado, we are all getting drunk and starting bar fights. It will be an epic event. Joe is supa dupa fine. And also the sole male member of the "Girls (AND JOE!!!) Only Club." He Mcroxors and feels the need to remind me of his awesome pirate self like I don't already know. Everytime he messages me he says "teh amber?" and waits for a response. Adorable. He's my long distance online fanboyfriend.
Best Friend/Nation of Hation Co President - Kelly @ Suddenly Tragic - Kelly is my actual real life best friend and roommate. We share in many things including our favorite fandoms. Long before we were huge nerds together, we were busy going to concerts, dying our hair, listneing to ridiculous music, and making up names for our fake bands. We are the Nation of Hation, we don't need a reason, and we rock your face off forever. Take that. Oh, and MICKEY PARKE FOR LIFE, SON!
Long Lost Sister/Master of Disappearances - Nelly @ Frozen Rain - Nelly is one of my favorite art community people. Her art progresses so quickly and she always has an open ear to listen to me babble about my problems. We tend to discuss boys at length and enjoy making fun of them. She surprised me last year by opening a fanlisting in my honor which was just the biggest compliment ever. She's a sweetie, and even though she likes to vanish sometimes I still look in on her and check out her new art.
Shia Whore/Twia Whore/Lil Pumpkin Belly - Line @ Shattered - Oh Line, what can be said about this ridiculous woman. Without her, I might have no one to discuss Even Stevens with, or compete for best LJ commenter, I would also be recieving less drunken comments about Edward from Twilight. We've only been affies for a few months or so, but I've been nabbing her textures forever. She rocks my world. In a totally not platonic, hot way of course. Edward Cullen FTW.
My Rosalie - J.j. @ More Adventurous - Even though J.j. doesn't do family sites, if she did, we would so be family. And a lot of times you can't choose your family, so I am forcing myself on her anyway. That's what she said. Jiggy J is someone I knew from BWF and BF in passing, but it wasn't until the epic livejournal posts of the last year that we got to know eachother. In a shocking twist of events we found out we both win at life, therefore should be friends. Without her I might never know what is or isn't valid, and my, hers, and Line's band would be incomplete. Who would have the huge gothic boobies and wear corsets? She my secret asian man, and she along with several others pulled me out of lurking and into VIP on BF for late night wtfery.
